The Hearing First Waxfree Guarantee™
Hearing First - First Class Hearing Care

Another first for Hearing First!

At Hearing First, we are the only national wax removal service to offer our trademark Waxfree Guarantee™.

What does this mean?

What does this mean? Our Waxfree Guarantee™ means that we guarantee to remove your ear wax, or the next appointment is free*.

Book Microsuction with Hearing First - The Safer Way To Remove Ear Wax

Why the Waxfree Guarantee™?

We know that your time is precious and you don't want to be going back and forth to appointments, and more importantly you don't want to have to pay extra if your wax was just too stuck, so our Waxfree Guarantee™ promises that we will remove your ear wax (assuming you have any) on the first appointment or your follow-up appointment will be free.

If you don't want to take advantage of our Waxfree Guarantee™, then if your ear wax is too hard or stuck to be removed in one appointment we will offer you a 40% discount off your second appointment, and in the unlikely event of needing a third appointment, it will be free.

* Wait! Surely there's got to be a catch?

No, there really isn't. There are just a few simple terms and conditions, which we have put in place for your safety:

- Firstly, you must have ear wax - if you don't have ear wax we will give you a thorough ear examination, checking your ear canal and ear drum, making sure they are physically healthy and free from infection or abnormalities. We will also give you advice on ear care, and potentially exercises for Eustachian Tube Dysfunction.

- Ear wax can be very hard, and if it not softened sufficiently it can scratch the surface of the ear canal. In order to benefit from our Waxfree Guarantee™, you must therefore follow our Hearing First Wax Busting Protocol™:

- The Hearing First Wax Busting Protocol™ is as follows:

- Apply 2 drops of Cl-ear™ Ear Relief Ear Drops lying down with your head on a side for a few minutes 3 times a day for 2 days. If you are unable to lie down you can tilt your head sideways.Click here to order Cl-ear Ear Relief from our web shop - typically next day delivery.

- Follow this for the next 3 days with 2 squirts of Earol spray with your head upright 4 times a day. Alternatively you can use Cl-ear Ear Spray.Order Earol here from our web shop - typically next day delivery.Order Cl-ear Ear Spray here.

- You must carry out the protocol in the five days immediately prior to your appointment, as well as Earol (or Cl-ear Ear Spray) on the morning of your appointment, to prevent your ear wax from hardening again.

- If your appointment is postponed, continue using Earol until the day of your appointment.

- If your appointment is for both ears, make sure you follow the protocol for both ears!

- We do not recommend it, but if you want to use cotton wool to stop the wax softeners from dripping out, you need to first saturate the cotton wool with Vaseline (or other petroleum jelly), otherwise the cotton wool will soak up all the wax softener and the ear wax will not get softened.

- When you complete your online consent form, you will need to upload photos of receipts for Cl-ear™ Ear Relief Ear Drops purchased at least 5 days prior to your appointment, and Earol (or Cl-ear Ear Spray) purchased at least 3 days prior to your appointment. You can purchase both of them at the same time - just upload a photo of the same receipt twice.

- Note that Waxsol has now been replaced by Cl-ear™ Ear Relief ear drops in the Waxbusting Protocol™, due to a general lack of availability of Waxsol. The sodium docusate in Waxsol and glycerol in Cl-ear Ear Relief work the same way to soften ear wax. A further benefit of glycerol is that it has a soothing anti-inflammatory action on the lining of the ear canal, which can further aid the wax removal process.
